Day 1 : Arrival at Casablanca Airport , Visit Hassan II , El Jadida: 103 km
You will be met by our driver guide at Casablanca International Airport and will begin your 15 Days Desert Grand Tour From Casablanca by visiting Hassan II, Africa’s largest mosque, and then driving to El Jadida, about 100 kilometers from Casablanc where you can enjoy the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, dinner, and overnight in a hotel.
Day 2: El Jadida , El Oualidia , Safi , Essaouira: 277 km
After breakfast, your You will be met by our driver guide at Casablanca International Airport and will begin your 15 Days Desert Private Tour From Casablanca by visiting Hassan II, Africa’s largest mosque, and then driving to El Jadida, about 100 kilometers from Casablanc where you can enjoy the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, dinner, and overnight in a hotel. begins with a morning departure to Essaouira’s small Mogador; our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel. To get to Essaouira, we drive through various coastal cities, but first you’ll take a short tour through the Old Portuguese city to see its fortifications, castle, and amazing cistern.
We’ll stop for lunch in El Oualidia after a one-hour journey. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Essaouira along the beautiful coast and through Safi city, arriving at the evening for supper and overnight in a traditional Riad / or Hotel in the Medina.
Day 3: Discover Essaouira:
After breakfast, tour Essaouira and its famed fishing harbor, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you may have a fantastic lunch in a local restaurant by the sea. Then you’ll have some free time to tour the old medina, including the Jewish district (el Mellah), the Skalla, and the city’s attractive souks:
you’ll visit art galleries and traditional woodwork stalls, as well as the interesting ambiance and old streets. We propose watching the gorgeous sunset and having a drink of tea at one of the cafes in the main square in the evening, then having dinner and staying the night at the same Riad/or Hotel.
Day 4: Essaouira , Marrakech: 191 km
After breakfast, we will drive to Marrakech through the country of Argan culture, stopping along the route to visit a women’s Argan oil cooperative where the oil is extracted, which is known for its culinary, beauty, and medical characteristics. We’ll continue our journey to Marrakech after many photo breaks before dropping you off at your Riad.
This will be your first encounter with Marrakech, and you will be able to feel and witness firsthand what has drawn so many celebrities to this red city. After supper, take a stroll through Djemaa El-famed Fna’s square, where you’ll be entertained by magicians, storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers. We will spend the night at a Riad or a Hotel.
Day 5: Sightseeing in Marrakech:
After breakfast, you will begin your exploration of the heart of Marrakech, one of the country’s royal capitals, known as the Red City because of its sandstone architecture. You will see the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the Jardin Majorelle, a floral park that merges art deco and Moorish themes, with the help of your local guide.
Lunch will be available to you. Then continue your Marrakech sightseeing. By roaming around Djemaa El-Fna, the Medina’s largest plaza, you can take in the street theater, which is bustling with snake charmers, musicians, acrobats, storytellers, and magicians. In the evening, you will have free time to enjoy the sunset from a restaurant terrace overlooking the exciting Djemaa El-Fna Square while eating dinner and staying in the same hotel/or Riad.
Day 6 : Marrakech – High Atlas – Kasbah Telouet – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Atlas Studio – Ouarzazate: 197 km
After breakfast, we’ll continue our 15 Days Desert Grand Tour From Casablanca by driving across the Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop along the way to take in the breathtaking vistas of the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’tichka Pass (2260m). We will arrive at Telouet, a small Berber village where we will tour the Telouet Kasbah, which was erected for the strong el Glaoui family n the 18th and 19th centuries and is a remarkable sight to behold. The Kasbah, with its vivid mosaics and red stucco, was strategically located on the caravan route.
Take a break there and have lunch at a nearby restaurant. Later, we’ll go to Ouarzazate via the beautiful Ounila valley, passing through Berber settlements on our way to the old Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. This fortified walled city, situated exactly on the caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara in the 12th century, was once a prosperous commercial hub.
Six Kasbahs and a small number of dwellings are located within the high mud walls. Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia are two films in which Ait Benhaddou has appeared. We’ll go to Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be in an Ouarzazate hotel or Riad.
Day 7: Ouarzazate, Rose Valley, Dades Valley, Tinghir, Todra Gorges, Erfoud, Erg-Chebbi Desert (Merzouga) 373 km
After breakfast, we will begin our drive from Ouarzazate to Merzouga, also known as “the entryway to the Sahara desert.” We’ll make a pit stop at Ouarzazate to see the exquisite architecture of Kasbah Taourirte. Then we’ll drive through the Thousand Kasbah Road, through Rose Valley, Dades Valley, and Todra Valley. We’ll take in the lush scenery, complete with palm groves and almond trees.
Later, we arrive at Todra Gorge, a cool and natural location with orange towering cliffs. Todra Gorge’s gorges are about 1,000 feet deep. It’s also a popular climbing spot, and we’ll take our time exploring this incredible location.
We continue our journey to the Sahara desert in the afternoon, passing through various Berber settlements such as Tinjdad, Melaab, and Erfoud. Before arriving at the wonderful realm of sand dunes, we will have some free time for lunch. Dinner and stay in a Merzouga hotel or riad.
Day 8: Desert Tour , Merzouga Lake , Khamliya village , Nomad Family , Camel trek , Overnight in Desert Camp: 40 km
We will begin our excursion around the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes after breakfast. We’ll visit several interesting spots in the vicinity, like Merzouga Lake (which isn’t constantly full of water) to witness the different types of birds (ducks and flamingos) that come to dwell in this lake, especially in the spring.
We’ll stop by Khamliya hamlet to listen to African music (Gnawa) performed by people who are originally from the African continent, then continue on our off-road desert excursion to the black desert behind the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes.
We’ll go to an abandoned village with working mineral fossils, then drive to a nomadic Berber family to learn about their way of life.
We’ll return to Khamliya for a delectable lunch at a local eatery. You will begin your Camel Trekking Adventure in the afternoon, crossing the gorgeous unique orange colored sand dunes to desert camp. The fantastic feeling of feeding your soul while watching the beautiful sunset from the middle of the dunes. Dinner and nights will be in camp, with music playing and the opportunity to play in the sand dunes under a million stars.
Day 9: Merzouga , Ziz Valley , Middle Atlas , Midelt , Cedar Forest , Ifrane , Fes: 460 km
Today, we recommend waking up early for a beautiful sunrise, followed by breakfast and a shower before returning to Merzouga by camel or vehicle. We’ll next drive to Midelt via Erfoud, Aoufous, Ziz Valley, a lush green oasis with hundreds of palm trees; Errachidia and Tizi N’talghoumte Pass (1907m).
After lunch in Midelt, we’ll go to Fes via the Middle Atlas and a cedar grove where you can witness barbarian monkeys. We’ll also take a break at Ifrane, which is known as Morocco’s “Switzerland.” Before going to Fes, Morocco’s oldest city. We will drop you off at the conclusion of the day in a hotel or riad in the heart of the medina for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 10: Fes sightseeing:
After breakfast, you will begin your exploration of Morocco’s most historically and culturally significant city. You will tour the medina – the old city, with its architecture – in Fes, “the spiritual city of Morocco.” Many monuments are included in our Fez guided tour. The Jewish Quarter (Mellah) includes the Royal Palace, Dar El Makhzen, with its beautiful mosaicked architecture and golden doors. Built in the 11th century, the famed Chaouwara Tanneries are the city’s largest leather workshop.
Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter the Kairaouine Mosque (the old institution of Islamic study), which is also one of the world’s oldest universities; nevertheless, they can enjoy the mosque courtyard from the gates. The Al-Attarine Madrassa and the Najjarine Marble Fountain are two religious schools with some of the most spectacular Islamic architecture. The Bou Inania Medersa is one of Fes’ most attractive theological institutions in terms of architecture.
Lunch will be served in a local Moroccan restaurant. The mosaics on the external wall of the Bab Boujloud archway change color from blue to green on the inside wall, indicating the sacred color of Islam.
Stroll through the medina’s streets and markets. Later, we’ll drive you to a panoramic viewpoint for an incredible perspective of Fes El-enormous Bali’s medina. Dinner and stay in the medina at the same Riad.
Day 11: Fes , Meknes , Volubilis , Chefchaouen: 260 km
After breakfast, we’ll continue to Chefchaouen via Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s four imperial capitals, where we’ll see the magnificent Bab Mansour Gate, the calm gardens of Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum, and the Sahrij Swani utilized for irrigation and cultivation. Strolling through the historic medina of Meknes and taking in the bustle of El Hedim Square.
Later, we’ll continue on to Volubilis, one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman remains. We’ll tour and learn about this Moroccan archeological site, which features a stunning display of columns, abandoned structures, and magnificent mosaics going back to the 3rd century BC. Lunch will be at our leisure. In the afternoon, we go to Chefchaouen via various Rif villages, including Ouazzan and several other beautiful Rif villages. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional Riad/or Hotel in the medina’s blue lanes.
Day 12: Explore Chefchaouen:
After breakfast, you will explore Chefchaouen, often known as “the Blue Pearl,” a unique and traditional Moroccan town nestled in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco. It is known for its ancient town’s outstanding buildings in various shades of fading blue, which gives the impression of a clean and attractive world.
It got its name from the unusual blue tint that all of the residents used to paint their homes. The color blue is associated with the sky, which reminds people of heaven and God, according to folklore. This color offers the city a wonderful appeal as well as a feeling and atmosphere of relaxation, warmth, and tranquility.
You’ll begin your Chefchaouen sightseeing tour by strolling through the blue streets, taking in the magnificent blue walls, doors, windows, and amazing side shops of the old Medina, with plenty of photo opportunities around every corner. You will have a break to sample the delectable northern Moroccan cuisine. Visit the old Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid and Plaza Uta El-Hammam in the evening. Our delightful day concludes in the same Riad / or Hotel in Chefchaouen’s.
Day 13: Chefchaouen , Tangier 112 km
We will leave Chefchaouen after breakfast and drive to Tangier, “the bride of the north,” going through the green valley of the Rif Mountains, where we will have numerous opportunities to stop and take in the breathtaking scenery. Then it’s on to Tangier, the gateway to Africa from Europe, which has traditional been a melting pot of cultures.
Explore the lively medina and city environs on a tour of Tangier, and marvel at the stunning perspective of the Mediterranean and Atlantic waters colliding. Dinner and accommodation at a Riad or Hotel.
Day 14: Tangier , Asilah , Rabat: 250 km
We’ll drive to Rabat after breakfast; the most of the journey will be along the seashore. Our first stop will be at Asilah, where you will have the opportunity to see and learn about this lovely and clean city. Asilah is notable for its yearly art festival, with famous artists from all over the world painting most of the medina’s walls.
Following that, we’ll continue on to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities. We’ll see the city’s most popular attractions, including the Hassan Tower, Chellah, and Oudaya Kasbah. Spend the night in a Riad or a Hotel.
Day 15: Your Morocco Travel Comes to an End:
Transfer to Rabat / or Casablanca airport after breakfast on the final day of our 15-day Grand Morocco tour & desert experience from Casablanca.
