We will start our journey from the city of Tangier. We meet you in the port taking our direction towards Chefchaouen city to have lunch there, we will be driving through the Rif mountains, passing through Tetouane city enjoying the views of the beautiful mountains till we arrive to Chefchaouan. This latter is one of the stunning villages in the feet of Rif Mountains. Historically speaking, Chefchaouen city was occupied by Spanish troops; that’s why this white-blue city has got a Spanish-style. In this city there are many restaurants, cafes where you will be lucky to taste Northern dishes. We have lunch here. After taking lunch we go from Chefchaouen to Fez where we will spend over night .
Meet you in your riad / hotel driving, aiming to see Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Getting to Azrou and have a while in the Ceder forest to take a breath in the natural oxygen and capture fotos of the Barbarian apes in their jungle habitat. Furthermore, we continue our way to join Midelt and go ahead towards Errachidia passing through Ziz views gorges noticing the desert features as long as we get close to Errachidia. Here we offer ourselves a break to have lunch before we drive along Ziz valley passing via Erfoud, Rissani to arrive at the end into Merzouga. Thanks to Berber hospitality we will have a glass of mint tea before we go to the camp. So, when we drink tea; we leave our luggage in our hotel and get ready to ride camels to take us in an adventurous experience on Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend overnight in the desert.
You will have a chance to explore the magnificent desert landscape – if you feel enthusiast, energetic you can climb the dunes to watch the light and colour of the Erg Chebbi sand changes. It is believed that Erg Chebbi dunes are the highest sand dunes in North Africa. We will spend almost two hours upon the hump of camels hearing only the footsteps of camels on soft dunes till we reach our desert camp where we will spend night and sleep in berber tents, under a dark sky full of stars. Berber tents are made of camels, goat hair and they are well equipped with mattresses, blankets, and cushions… After dinner we will gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums under the stars. Calm and nature lovers also will have a fabulous time enjoying the quiet, silence of dunes .
The camel man will wake you up early to join and enjoy magnificent sunrise on dunes. This would be a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the desert. After doing so, we take camel ride back to the hotel. Arriving to hotel taking a shower then breakfast and we leave Merzouga for Tinghir and Todra Gorges. During our drive Merzouga_Dades, numerous Berber villages are scattered along the way. We will pass through Jorf, Tinjdad, and finally arrive to Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend the night.
After breakfast in riad we drive along Dades Valley passing across Kalaat M’gouna and Ouarzazate. Within the road of Dades Valley, we will see numerous abandoned Kasbahs were dwelt by large or famous, royal’s dynasty families in the past. Proceed our way to visit Klaat Mgouna village “Roses Valley” as well as we go to visit Skoura village. H0ence we continue to Ouarzazate. We leave the African hollywood city towards the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco.
After lunch, we wander this UNESCO World Heritage, and then we continue our trip via the panoramic view of Tizi nTichka pass; and here we will give us a chance to enjoy the impressive views and visit the Argan oil cooperative. At the end of our journey we will get into Marrakech .
