Program details of 12 Day desert trip From Casablanca Tours In Marrakech:

Day 1: Arrival at Casablanca Airport , Visit Hassan II Mosque , Rabat: 70 km

Our driving guide will meet you at the Casablanca airport upon your arrival, and you will begin your 12 Day desert trip From Casablanca You will see Hassan II mosque, Africa’s largest , and enjoy the Atlantic shore in Casablanca. Later, go to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities.

We’ll see the city’s most popular attractions, such as the Hassan Tower, Chellah, and Oudaya Kasbah, before checking into a hotel or riad for the night.

Day 2 : Rabat , Asilah , Chefchaouen: 361  km

After breakfast, we will leave Rabat and travel to Chefchaouen though Asilah city and amazing landscapes of Atlantic coast. Our first stop will be in Asilah, where you will have the occasion to discover the city. Asilah is known for its annual festival of the street art, the majority the walls of the city are painted by many famous artists.

You will also visit Skalla fortress, which offers a spectacular view of the medina. Lunch will be at our leisure. Then continue our journey via the Rif Mountains, arriving in the afternoon in the blue city (Chefchaouen). overnight in a hotel or riad in the medina’s blue lanes.

Day 3 : Explore Chefchaouen:

After breakfast, you will explore Chefchaouen, often known as “the Blue Pearl,” a unique and traditional Moroccan town nestled in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco. It is known for its ancient town’s outstanding buildings in various shades of fading blue, which gives the impression of a clean and attractive world.

It got its name from the unusual blue tint that all of the residents used to paint their homes. The color blue is associated with the sky, which reminds people of heaven and God, according to folklore. This color offers the city a wonderful appeal as well as a feeling and atmosphere of relaxation, warmth, and tranquility.

You’ll begin your Chefchaouen sightseeing tour by strolling through the blue streets, taking in the magnificent blue walls, doors, windows, and amazing side shops of the old Medina, with plenty of photo opportunities around every corner. You will have a break to sample the delectable northern Moroccan cuisine. Visit the old Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid and Plaza Uta El-Hammam in the evening. Day 4: Chefchaouen , Volubilis , Meknas , Fes: 260 km

We will begin our journey to Volubilis after breakfast, passing through numerous Rif’s villages, including Ouazzan and several more magnificent Rif’s villages. The first stop at Volubilis is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman remains. We’ll tour and learn about this Moroccan archeological site, which features a stunning display of columns, abandoned structures, and magnificent mosaics going back to the 3rd century BC.

We will continue our journey to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s four Imperial cities, where we will stop for lunch before beginning to explore the city’s highlights, including the fascinating Bab Mansour Gate built by Sultan Moulay Ismail, the tranquil courtyards of Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum, and the Sahrij Swani used for irrigation and plantation.

Strolling through the historic medina of Meknes and taking in the bustle of El Hedim Square. We go to Fes in the afternoon for some relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay in a traditional Riad/or Hotel in the heart of the medina.

Day 5: Fes sightseeing:

After breakfast, you will begin your exploration of Morocco’s most historically and culturally significant city. You will tour the medina – the old city, with its architecture – in Fes, “the spiritual city of Morocco.” Many monuments are included in our Fez guided tour. The Jewish Quarter (Mellah) includes the Royal Palace, Dar El Makhzen, with its beautiful mosaicked architecture and golden doors. Built in the 11th century, the famed Chaouwara Tanneries are the city’s largest leather workshop.

Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter the Kairaouine Mosque (the old institution of Islamic study), which is also one of the world’s oldest universities; nevertheless, they can enjoy the mosque courtyard from the gates. The Al-Attarine Madrassa and the Najjarine Marble Fountain are two religious schools with some of the most spectacular Islamic architecture. The Bou Inania Medersa is one of Fes’ most attractive theological institutions in terms of architecture.

Lunch will be served in a local Moroccan restaurant. The mosaics on the external wall of the Bab Boujloud archway change color from blue to green on the inside wall, indicating the sacred color of Islam.

Stroll through the medina’s streets and markets. Later, we’ll drive you to a panoramic viewpoint for an incredible perspective of Fes El-enormous Bali’s medina. Dinner and stay in the medina at the same Riad.

Day 6: Fes , Ifrane , Cedar Forest , Atlas Mountains , Ziz Valley , Merzouga , Experience Sahara desert: 460 km

After breakfast, we leave Fes and driving though the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Ifrane city which referred to as “Switzerland of Morocco”. We will stop at Forest of Cedar near to Azrou, where we can watch Monkeys.

Then, continue our road to Midelt, the famous town of apples where we will have free time for lunch. Later in the afternoon we’ll drive to Sahara desert via Tizi N’talghoumte pass (1907m), passing by small Berber villages and the wonderful Ziz Valley situated near to Errachidia city.

After that, we’ll go to Merzouga through Aoufous and Erfoud, arriving in 2 hours to the magical area of sand dunes (Erg-Chebbi). Where we can change vehicles and board Camels to travel into the Sahara desert and watch the sunset.

Dinner and overnight will be spent in a desert camp with local people around a campfire and drumming music beneath a gorgeous sky full with stars.

Day 7: Desert Tour , Merzouga Lake , Khamlia village ,Nomad Family , Camel trek and Overnight in Desert Camp : 40 km

After breakfast, we’ll begin our tour of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. We will travel to many interesting locations nearby, including Lake Merzouga, to witness the various species of birds (including ducks and flamingos) that come to dwell there, especially in the spring. Lake Merzouga is not always filled with water.

Then, we’ll continue our desert off-road drive into the Black Desert behind the Erg Chebbi sand dunes after stopping at the Khamlia hamlet to listen to African music (Gnaoua) played by people from the African continent. We’ll visit a deserted village with living fossils from working minerals before visiting a Berber Bedouin family to learn about their way of life.

We’ll return to Khamlia for a delectable lunch at a local eatery. You will begin your Camel Trekking Adventure in the afternoon, crossing the gorgeous unique orange colored sand dunes to desert camp. The fantastic feeling of feeding your soul while watching the beautiful sunset from the middle of the dunes. Dinner and nights will be in camp, with music playing and the opportunity to play in the sand dunes under a million stars.

Day 8: Merzouga , Rissani Town , Tinghir , Todra Valley and Gorges , Dades Valley , Rose Valley , Ouarzazate: 366 km

The next day, get up early for beautiful sunrise, then return to Merzouga village by camel or vehicle for departure to rissani town after breakfast and shower. 
We’ll take stroll trhrough the area’s most famous, traditional, and largest market, looking for locally manufactured goods and art crafts. 
Rissani is best visited on the following days: Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday. 
These three days are souk days, so it’s nice time for folks in the desert to go shopping. 
Later, we’ll go to Tinghir via the tafilalt Oasis, where we’ll be able to examine the old irrigation system.
We’ll continue to Tinjdad, where we’ll have some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll go to Tinghir to take in the breathtaking views of Todra Valley and walk along Todra Gorge’s orange cliffs. The canyons of Todra Gorge are about 1,000 feet deep, and it’s a popular climbing destination. We will end our day in Ouarzazate by traveling through Dades Valley, the Road of 1000 Kasbahs, and the Land of Roses in Kalaat M’Gonna town, after which we will arrive in Ouarzazate and stop to photograph the amazing architecture of Kasbah Taourirte before checking into your hotel / Riad for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 9: Ouarzazate, Atlas Studios, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, Ounila Valley, Telouet Kasbah, High Atlas, Marrakech: 197 km

After breakfast, we will to see the Atlas Studios, a world-renowned film studio. Our journey continues to Ait Benhaddou’s historic Kasbah. This fortified walled city, situated exactly on the caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara in the 12th century, was once a prosperous commercial hub. Six Kasbahs and a small number of dwellings are located within the high mud walls. Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia are two films in which Ait Benhaddou has appeared.
Later, we’ll travel to Marrakech via the gorgeous Ounila valley, passing through Berber settlements on our way to Telouet hamlet, where we’ll explore Telouet Kasbah, a remarkable site to behold erected in the 18th and 19th centuries for the strong el Glaoui family. The Kasbah, with its vivid mosaics and red stucco, was strategically located on the caravan route.
Take a break there for lunch at a nearby eatery. Then travel through the Atlas Passes, stopping along the way to take in the spectacular vistas of the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’tichka Pass (2260m). We will arrive in Marrakech in the evening and spend the night at a hotel/Riad in the medina.

Day 10: Sightseeing in Marrakech:

After breakfast, you will begin your exploration of the heart of Marrakech, one of the country’s royal capitals, known as the Red City because of its sandstone architecture. You will see the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the Jardin Majorelle, a floral park that merges art deco and Moorish themes, with the help of your local guide.

Lunch will be available to you. Then continue your Marrakech sightseeing. By roaming around Djemaa El-Fna, the Medina’s largest plaza, you can take in the street theater, which is bustling with snake charmers, musicians, acrobats, storytellers, and magicians. In the evening, you will have free time to enjoy the sunset from a restaurant terrace overlooking the exciting Djemaa El-Fna Square while eating dinner and staying in the same hotel/or Riad.

Day 11: Essaouira day trip 282 km

After breakfast, we will go for Essaouira (Mogador) to explore the Atlantic coast, seafood, and history of this small city before returning to Marrakech in the afternoon.

The Final Day 12 of Your Morocco Experience:

After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech or Casablanca airport and finish of our services on the final day of your 12 Day desert trip From Casablanca .
