Day 1: Arrival at Tangier Port/Airport; transportation to a hotel for relaxation.
Upon arrival at Tangier Port / Airport, you will be greeted by our driver guide and embark on a 14 days Desert tour from Tangier, followed by a transfer to a hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 2: Explore Tangier.
After a delightful breakfast on the second day of our vacation, we will explore Tangier, “the Bride of the North.” This sophisticated city is the ideal location for complete relaxation and a good time. With our experienced driver guide, we will visit various sights such as Cape Spartel or the lighthouse, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean coasts in breathtaking vistas. We will also visit the famed Hercules caves, where the Greek God of Strength rests after his ultimate 12th labors.
For spiritual magnificence, explore the Kasbah Museum, Bab Ha-ha, and the medina walls. The sight was fascinated by its appealing Arabic, Andalusian, and European combined architecture. We will do our best to show you the most important sites and areas of the Bride of the North, with supper and overnight accommodations in the same Hotel / Riad.
Day 3: Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen: 112 km
After breakfast, we will continue our private 14 days Desert tour from Tangier, passing via Tetouan City and the high Rif Mountains on our way to Chefchaouen. On this journey, we will stop a few times to enjoy the beauty of nature and take photographs of the gorgeous mountains. We’ll have some free time for a tasty lunch. Then, in the afternoon, we will arrive in the bleu city (Chefchaouen), where we will stay in a hotel or a riad in the medina’s blue lanes for dinner and sleep.
Day 4: Chefchaouen , Volubilis , Meknas , Fes: 260 km
We will start our trip to Volubilis after breakfast, passing through several Rif villages, including Ouazzane and many other wonderful Rif villages. The first stop in Volubilis is one of the best preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. We will take a tour and learn about this Moroccan archaeological site, which features a stunning display of columns, abandoned structures and impressive mosaics dating back to the 3rd century BC.
We will continue our trip to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of the four imperial cities of Morocco, after visiting the ruins.
We will stop for lunch before continuing our tour of the city, which will include the magnificent Bab Mansour gate built by Sultan Moulay Ismail, the peaceful gardens of Moulay Ismail’s mausoleum, and the Souani Sahij used for irrigation and agriculture. Stroll around the historic city of Meknes and enjoy the hustle and bustle of El Hedim Square. We go to Fez in the afternoon to spend some relaxation, dinner and overnight in one of the riads / or traditional hotels in the heart of the Medina.
Day 5: Fes Sightseeing:
After breakfast, you will begin your exploration of Morocco’s most historically and culturally significant city. You will tour the medina – the old city, with its architecture – in Fes, “the spiritual city of Morocco.” Many monuments are included in our Fez guided tour. The Jewish Quarter (Mellah) includes the Royal Palace, Dar El Makhzen, with its beautiful mosaicked architecture and golden doors. Built in the 11th century, the famed Chaouwara Tanneries are the city’s largest leather workshop.
Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter the Kairaouine Mosque (the old institution of Islamic study), which is also of the world’s oldest one universities; nevertheless, they can enjoy the mosque courtyard from the gates. The Al-Attarine Madrassa and the Najjarine Marble Fountain are two religious schools with some of the most spectacular Islamic architecture. The Bou Inania Medersa is one of Fes’ most attractive theological institutions in terms of architecture.
Lunch will be served in a local Moroccan restaurant. The mosaics on the external wall of the Bab Boujloud archway change color from blue to green on the inside wall, indicating the sacred color of Islam.
Stroll through the medina’s streets and markets. Later, we’ll drive you to a panoramic viewpoint for an incredible perspective of Fes El-enormous Bali’s medina. Dinner and stay in the medina at the same Riad.
Day 6: Fes , Ifrane , Cedar Forest , Atlas Mountains , Ziz Valley , Merzouga: 460 km
After breakfast, we leave Fes and driving though the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Ifrane city which referred to as “Switzerland of Morocco”. We will stop at Forest of Cedar near to Azrou, where we can watch Monkeys.
Then, continue our road to Midelt, the famous town of apples where we will have free time for lunch. Later in the afternoon we’ll drive to Sahara desert via Tizi N’talghoumte pass (1907m), passing by small Berber villages and the wonderful Ziz Valley situated near to Errachidia city.
After that, we’ll go to Merzouga through Aoufous and Erfoud, arriving in 2 hours to the magical area of sand dunes (Erg-Chebbi). Where we can change vehicles and board Camels to travel into the Sahara desert and watch the sunset.
Dinner and overnight will be spent in a desert camp with local people around a campfire and drumming music beneath a gorgeous sky full with stars.
Day 7: Desert Tour , Merzouga Lake , Khamliya Village , Black desert , Nomad Families , Camel Trekking , Overnight in Desert Camp: 40 km
We will visit many interesting pleces in the vicinity, such as Lake Merzouga (which is not constantly filled with water) to see the different types of birds (ducks and flamingos) that come to live in this lake, especially in the spring.
We’ll stop at a sleepy village to listen to African music (Gnaoua) performed by people of African descent, then continue our off-road desert journey into the Black Desert behind the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.
We will visit an abandoned village where working mineral fossils can be found, then drive to a Berber Bedouin family to learn about their way of life.
Day 8 : Merzouga , Rissani Town , Tinghir City , Todra Valley and Gorges , Dades Valley: 255 km
The next day, get up early for a beautiful sunrise, then return to Merzouga village by camel or vehicle for a departure to Rissani town after breakfast and shower.
We’ll take a stroll through the area’s most famous, traditional, and largest market, looking for locally manufactured goods and art crafts. Rissani is best visited on the following days: Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday.
These three days are souk days, so it’s a nice time for folks in the desert to go shopping. Later, we’ll go to Tinghir via the Tafilalt Oasis, where we’ll be able to examine the old irrigation system.
We’ll arrive in Tinjdad town and have some free time for lunch. Then continue to Tinghir to see the breathtaking views of Todra Valley and walk along Todra Gorge with its orange towering cliffs; the gorges of Todra Gorge are about 1,000 feet deep, and it is a popular climbing destination.
We’ll finish the day in Boumalne Dades, which has a lush green valley. Dinner and accommodation at a hotel or Riad.
Day 9: Valley Dades Gorge , Skouraa , Ouarzazate , Ait Ben Haddou: 152 km
After breakfast, take a morning stroll along the Dades Valley to take in the breathtaking scenery. After that, we continue to Marrakech via El Kelaa Magona, the Valley of the Roses, and the road of a thousand kasbahs. We’ll travel to Ouarzazate and have lunch in the village of Ait Benhaddou. There will be opportunity to tour this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has served as the backdrop for numerous films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. HB spends the night in a traditional kasbah.
Day 10: Ait Ben Haddou ,Telouet , Marrakech: 181 km
We depart to Marrakech after breakfast, passing via the Atlas Mountains. We pass via the unila valley and the Pink Valley. We continue to Marrakesh after visiting theTelouet Kasbah and the most beautiful Kasbah in Morocco, Kasbah At Ben Haddou — a Unesco World Heritage site. Overnight In Marrakesh.
Day 11 : visit Marrakesh:
After breakfast, you will begin your exploration of the heart of Marrakech, one of the country’s royal capitals, known as the Red City because of its sandstone architecture. You will see the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the Jardin Majorelle, a floral park that merges art deco and Moorish themes, with the help of your local guide.
Lunch will be available to you. Then continue your Marrakech sightseeing. By roaming around Djemaa El-Fna, the Medina’s largest plaza, you can take in the street theater, which is bustling with snake charmers, musicians, acrobats, storytellers, and magicians. In the evening, you will have free time to enjoy the sunset from a restaurant terrace overlooking the exciting Djemaa El-Fna Square while eating dinner and staying in the same hotel/or Riad.
Day 12: Marrakech , Casablanca , Rabat: 322 km
After breakfast, we will travel to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest and most prosperous city, to tour the city’s most prominent sights, including Hassan II Mosque, Africa’s largest mosque. Then go on to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities. The Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, Chellah, and the Oudaya Kasbah are among the city’s most popular attractions. At Rabat, you will spend the night in a hotel or a riad.
Day 13: Rabat , Asilah , Tangier: 251 km
After breakfast, we’ll drive down Morocco’s Atlantic coast to Tangier, “the bride of the North.” We’ll make a pit stop in Asilah, a charming and clean coastal city with Portuguese colonial fortifications. Asilah is notable for its yearly art festival, with famous artists from all over the world painting most of the medina’s walls. Lunch will be at our leisure. We’ll then continue on our trip to Tangier. At Tangier, you will spend the night in a hotel or a riad.
