Program details of 8 Days Tour from Marrakech via Imperial Cities and Sahara Desert :

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakesh

When you arrive, we will greet you at the airport, our driver will pick you up, and you will have the rest of the day to unwind while seeing the main plaza, Jemaa el Fnaa, and the souks, or simply relaxing at your hotel/riad.

Day 2: Marrakesh , Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou , Ouarzazate 197 km

After breakfast, we’ll explore one of the country’s most stunning alpine environments. We’ll cross the High Atlas, traveling through the Tizi n Tichka pass at 2,260 meters. We’ll continue on to the famed fortified village of the Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou, the most picturesque of the Thousand Kasbah path. Camels brought caravans from all over the world to this old harbor.

We’ll go to the Kasbah where numerous movies were filmed, including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Mommy, Alexander, and Game of Thrones. At the conclusion of the tour, we will transport you to your hotel in Ouarzazate, widely known as “the desert’s door.” Dinner and a night’s stay at Riad/Hotel

Day 3 :Ouarazazate , Rose Valley , Dades Gorges , Todra Gorges , Erfoud , Merzouga 367 km

We depart Ouarzazate for the Roase Valley, but first stop in the skoura oases to view a very old Kasbah ameridil, and then continue to the Todra Gorges, one of the South’s strongholds. The Todra River has carved out a gorge with massive vertical cliffs of amazing beauty throughout the years; it is a climber’s dream and a one-of-a-kind location.

After lunch we continuing to Erfoud, where we will visit the fossil quarry, which date back over 380 million years, to observe how they extract the various artifacts. We will proceed on to the vast dunes of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi after the visit. Overnight and dinner at Riad/Hoel.

day 4 : Camel trek in Merzouga and desert camp 40 km

Today, we’ll explore the desert region and the beauty of the Erg-Chebbi desert’s dunes. We will take a tour into the desert dunes, where we will be able to view the nomads’ way of life as well as the desert’s incredible contrasts. We’ll go to Khamlia, the slave hamlet, to observe the Gnawa musicians. We’ll then travel to Rissani, the old capital, to see its market, the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum, and eat berber pizza for lunch.

We’ll ride camels in the afternoon to witness the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in a Berber camp. While admiring the stars and the crescent moon in the gorgeous Sahara desert, we will eat a traditional dinner with tagine, wonderful mint tea, and listen to traditional Berber music. In Merzouga, you can stay in desert camp.

day 5 : Merzouga , Midelt , Azrou , Ifrane , Fez 640 km

You will return to the hotel by camel in the morning after breakfast and shower. after breakfast, we will depart for Fes, where we will be treated to a spectacular panoramic vista of the Ziz valley, complete with palm trees and canyons. We’ll travel through the mid-atlas today, passing through the Tizi-n-Talghomt pass on our way to Midelt, where we’ll eat lunch.

Then we’ll continue to Azrou’s cedar forest, where we’ll stop to witness Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. we’ll drive via Ifrane, also known as “the Moroccan Switzerland,” on our way to Fez, Morocco’s cultural capital. overnight at riad/hotel.

day 6 : Fes Heritage of Humanity

A guided tour of the oldest imperial city will take place in the morning. The earliest political, ecclesiastical, and cultural capital, founded in 808. We begin our tour by entering the Royal Palace through the Golden Doors. Later, we’ll see the spectacular and ancient medina’s wall from a high vantage point. After that, your guide will take you on foot to see the city’s attractions and monuments.

Until we reach the Tanners’ Quarter, we will see mosques, medersas, and religious sites. After some free time for lunch, we’ll proceed to the artisans’ district to see how they operate and how they preserve Andalusia’s art and style to this day, earning Fez the well-deserved title of “City of Artisans.” By the afternoon, you’ll have the option of returning to your lodging or spending extra time exploring the historic medina.

day 7 : Fez , Meknes , Volubilis , Rabat 207 km

After breakfast, go for Meknes early in the morning. The tour starts with a tour of the ramparts, which include the majestic 17th century gates Bab Mansour and Bab Khemis. We continue our exploration of the city by visiting the city’s stables (Rua), granaries (HERI), the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, which was for a long time the only mosque open to non-Muslims in Morocco, and finally the famed Bab Mansour El on the enormous Hedim Square.

We’ll proceed to Volubilis, the Roman ruin where we’ll spend some time visiting the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a sense of life during the Roman Empire. Following the tour, we will go to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, overnight at riad/hotel.

Day 8: Rabat , Marrakesh 371 km

After breakfast, you will go on a guided tour of Rabat and visit the Kasbah oudayas, erected by a terrible tribe in the twelfth century, Then we go to the Hassan Tower, which has four different façade, three in pink stones and one in gray due to the sea breeze, as well as the ruins of the old mosque and the mausoleum Mohamed 5 next door. We’ll drive through the highway to Marrakech after our visit of Rabat.
